WILD ATLANTIC WAY
MOUNTAIN LAKES HIKE
Get away from it all on this classic hiking route along the Wild Atlantic Way.
Starting at sea level we will ascend 300 metres to two mystic mountain lakes nestled in the Urris Hills. The wild Atlantic will be our constant companion with stunning views of Fanad, Lough Swilly, North Inishowen and the Atlantic Ocean.
Along the way we will hear some local stories, learn a bit of history, and get close to nature as we explore the local flora and fauna. A lunch stop with a panoramic view will beat the best restaurants in the world!
Post-hike why not enjoy a swim in the crystal-clear water of the Atlantic at beautiful Lenan Beach – don’t forget your swimming togs (seasonal unless you are very brave!).
